Wembley Stadium, London will host the mega event
Swerve Strickland will defend the World Title against Bryan Danielson at AEW All In 2024. The Washington locals built a reputation for themselves everywhere they went, from Lucha Underground and DEFY to WWE.
It will be championship versus career, and Swerve is not taking Danielson lightly. Swerve’s rise to the top led him to fight one of the finest wrestlers in the world.
“Bryan told me I’m a special breed of talent,” Strickland told Sports Illustrated. “I’m also a special breed of danger. I know we wrestled before, but he’s never faced me like this. Bryan is facing me after my Texas Deathmatch against Hangman Page. He’s facing me after I beat Will Ospreay–and Christian Cage and Samoa Joe. I’m a different beast. I can’t wait for him to see it.”
“Timeless” Toni Storm was deceived by her pupil, 2024 Women’s Owen Hart Cup champion Mariah May, after months of companionship. May aggressively assaulted Storm and made it clear that she wanted the AEW Women’s World Title. Two Stardom alumni are ready to give it their all in the ring.
Meanwhile, MJF won the AEW International Title and renamed it the American belt after defeating Will Ospreay in a nearly hour-long bout. Following a brief face run, MJF returns as a heel and plans to disrupt Ospreay’s homecoming.
Britt Baker returns for the first time since September 2023 to battle Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Championship. Baker, an AEW original, hopes to put a halt to Mone’s rapid rise and establish herself as one of the company’s finest female stars.
