This will mark AEW’s first pay-per-view to stream on HBO Max, with a special start time of 3 PM ET. The show will go head-to-head with WWE’s Wrestlepalooza PLE, which will emanate from Indianapolis on the same day from 7 PM ET.
Multiple top names, including Toni Storm, Jon Moxley, Mercedes Mone, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, MJF, and Adam Page, among others, are set to compete on the show.
Following their fallout, where FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) attacked Adam Copeland, Christian Cage returned at AEW All In in July to save Copeland from another attack from FTR and The Patriarchy.
Copeland and Cage reunited as a tag team at last month’s Forbidden Door, defeating The Patriarchy (Killswitch and Kip Sabian) in their first match together since 2011. Following their win on the August 27 episode of Dynamite, they challenged FTR to a match at All Out, which was later confirmed.
On the other hand, The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP) will battle Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) in a trios match.
Furthermore, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone is set to defend the title once again, this time in Toronto against Riho, who is looking to capture her second title in the promotion.
On the road to All Out, the promotion announced multiple matches. Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will meet in a Coffin match, while “Timeless” Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World title in a fatal four-way match against Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, and Thekla.
AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page is also set for a title defense at the PPV against Kyle Fletcher. If any member of the Don Callis Family interferes during the match, Fletcher will be disqualified and stripped of his AEW TNT Championship. On the other hand, MJF and Mark Briscoe will settle their score in London; they will clash in a Tables ‘n’ Thumbtacks match.
Additionally, Eddie Kingston and Big Bill will lock horns in a singles match, while Kazuchika Okada will defend the AEW Unified title in a three-way match against Konosuke Takeshita and either Máscara Dorada or The Beast Mortos.
A four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team titles is also announced for the show, where Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) will defend the title against The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey), and Don Callis Family (Hechicero & Josh Alexander).
