The 01/29 episode of Dynamite will emanate from Alabama

Following the stacked card of AEW Collision which emanated from the Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jacksonville-based promotion is now packing its bag for Alabama as the 01/29 show of AEW Dynamite will emanate from the VBC Probst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, United States.

The Jacksonville-based promotion will also pre-tape the February 1 episode of Collision after the show. The pre-taped show will air as per schedule on Saturday.

All Elite Wrestling has announced multiple matches and segments for the Dynamite episode in Alabama. Let us take a look at the match card and segment for the upcoming 01/29 episode of AEW Dynamite.

  • Jeff Jarrett vs Claudio Castagnoli (Jarrett gets an AEW World Championship match if he wins)
  • Will Ospreay vs Brian Cage
  • Mercedes Mone (c) vs Yuka Sakazaki – TBS Championship
  • MJF to appear
  • Jay White vs Wheeler Yuta

Jeff Jarrett vs Claudio Castagnoli

Jeff Jarrett will lock horns with AEW World Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli in the 01/29 episode. The match was set after Castagnoli attacked Jarrett on last week’s episode after he called out Jon Moxley. If Jarrett wins the match against Claudio, he will get a title shot against the AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

Will Ospreay vs Brian Cage

Will Ospready looks to continue his feud with the Don Callis family on the 01/29 show as he battles Brian Cage in a singles match in Alabama.

Mercedes Mone (c) vs Yuka Sakazaki – TBS Championship

Furthermore, a TBS Championship match between the current champion Mercedes Mone and the challenger Yuka Sakazaki is set for the show at the VBC Probst Arena.

The match was set following the 01/25 episode of Collision Homecoming where Sakazaki won the 4-way eliminator against Queen Aminata, Deonna Purrazzo, and Serena Deeb.

MJF to appear

Following last week’s tense face-off with Hangman Page and a harsh message for Jeff Jarrett on the January 22nd episode, the former AEW World Champion, MJF is now scheduled to appear on the 01/29 show.

Jay White vs Wheeler Yuta

one-third of the AEW World Trios Champions alongside stablemates Claudio Castagnoli and Pac, Jay White is set to battle Wheeler Yuta on the 01/29 episode of Dynamite. This match was set up after the event from last week’s episode where, White attempted to rescue Cope but was thwarted by the Death Riders, who took him down after a cheap shot from Yuta.

  • In the United States, Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico the show can be watched live at 8 PM ET, 7 PM CT & 5 PM PT every Wednesday on TBS. 
  • In Canada, AEW Dynamite will be aired live every Wednesday Live at 8 PM ET on TNT via Sling TV and FuboTV. 
  • In the United Kingdom & Ireland, the show will be broadcast at 1 AM Thursday on ITV4.
  • In India, AEW Dynamite will be live at 6.30 AM IST every Thursday from Eurosport & on Discovery+ OTT.
  • In Saudi Arabia, the show will be live at 4 AM EDT every Thursday on Shahid. 
  • In Australia, the show will be aired at 12 AM AEST every Thursday on ESPN2.
  • In France, the show will be telecasted at 2 AM on Thursday on Toonami.
  • AEW Fans across the world can also watch the show globally from FITE TV & from AEW Plus outside the United States & Canada.
