Jon Moxley made his return at AEW Dynamite this week

The August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, which took place at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois, got off to a surprising start. Fans flocked to social media when Jon Moxley made his return, but he left a mysterious statement that left everyone wondering what he meant.

Moxley makes his way through the crowd with a fresh style and theme. It indicated a transformation in his temperament, but when he chatted with announcer Tony Schiavone, it was evident something else was going on.

Moxley grabbed a microphone and delivered a cryptic and ominous promo. “This is not your company anymore,” Moxley said, which left fans and commentators stunned. The arena fell quiet as no one knew what Moxley’s words meant for the future of AEW. Still, there was plenty of speculation.

Some feel this marks the start of a new group lead by Moxley, who may quit from his current post with the Blackpool Combat Club (BCC). Moxley did not celebrate Bryan Danielson’s latest victory, which may have been revealing. Others question if Moxley is working with someone who has yet to make their debut.

Could AEW bring Shane McMahon?

There are rumors that Shane McMahon may be engaged in the plot. Although nothing has been verified, McMahon’s name has been associated with AEW in recent weeks. Moxley’s dramatic comment, combined with the changes in his presentation, has led some to conclude that AEW is preparing for a big plot shift, maybe involving a power struggle or takeover of some type.

Jon Moxley’s comment, “It’s going to take some time for everybody to wrap their brains around this, but we’re going to get started now. This is not your company anymore,” The incident is reminiscent of Shane McMahon’s prior involvement in a similar narrative, when he abruptly appeared to take over WCW Nitro after WWE acquired the organization.

Jon Moxley’s promotion for Dynamite has laid the groundwork for something spectacular. It remains to be seen if this marks the beginning of a new faction or something much larger.
