Bobby Lashley to debut at AEW All In 2024 after WWE contract expiry?
Bobby Lashley is reportedly leaving WWE upon contract expiry pretty soon!
Bobby Lashley is one of the most powerful and dominant professional wrestlers, with a giant muscle frame. Lashley has been in the pro-wrestling industry since 2005 and is known for his time in WWE and beyond. Lashley worked for WWE from 2005 to 2008 and from 2018 to 2024 and held a total of championships in WWE including two world championships.
In May 2024, WWE reported that Lashley suffered an injury during his training and got written off from the WWE TV. Lashley was nowhere seen then, however weeks ago it was reported that Lashley’s WWE contract is about to expire by August 2024 and he is reportedly leaving the company. As Lashley’s WWE exit has been teased, here we take a look at Bobby Lashley’s potential AEW debut at AEW All In.
Bobby Lashley to debut at AEW All In?
Ever since Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract status has been revealed, the backstage reports seemingly confirmed that AEW has a major interest in bringing the world champion. The reports revealed that there was a discussion backstage in AEW about signing the All-Mighty, however the deal hasn’t been made official as of yet.
At this stage, Fightful Select reported that Lashley’s WWE contract will come to an end by this weekend and will be leaving the company, with no creative plans. As this being said, AEW fans have been speculating that Lashley’s AEW debut could take place at AEW All In on August 25, 2024 at Wembley Stadium London, which is the upcoming major event of the Jacksonville-based promotion.
The rumors among AEW fans is that Lashley could make his AEW debut at All In during the AEW World Championship match between Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson, where Lashley could cost Strickland his title, by helping Danielson win the title.
Adding more hope, Lashley was photographed in Texas, where AEW hosted a recent episode of AEW Collision. All this gives hope that Lashley could be jumping the ship very soon. On the other hand, Fightful reported that Japanese promotions are also interested in Lashley coming to Japan for wrestling matches. However, everything has been a speculation and backstage reports and nothing is made official yet.
