“There will never be another” Bryan Danielson praises top AEW star

Bryan Danielson praises his fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Jon Moxley.

Jon Moxley is one of the hardcore professional wrestlers in the industry, who has a great reign across almost all major promotions. He has been in the pro-wrestling industry since 2004, but he is widely known for his time in WWE from 2011 to 2019, under the ring name Dean Ambrose. 

Moxley is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), however makes his appearance on allied promotions, such as NJPW, ROH, CMLL and others. Moxley jumped the ship from WWE to AEW following creative frustrations and achieved monumental success in AEW.

He is the former three time AEW World Champion and is the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He is the only wrestler to win the World Championship in WWE, AEW & NJPW. Moxley is one of the most celebrated wrestlers in AEW, now a fellow Blackpool Combat Club member, Bryan Danielson praised Moxley for his work in a recent interview.

Bryan Danielson in a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated discussed Jon Moxley’s upcoming IWGP World Championship title defense this Saturday at New Japan’s Domination. During the discussion, Danielson was asked about why most people love Jon Moxley’s work. 

To which Danielson praised him saying that he is one of the best, who has a unique mindset unlike anyone else. He went on to praise that he built it on his own and there could be another Moxley.

Bryan Danielson said, “To me, he is among the very best in the world. He has a mindset unlike anyone else. Mox did this, he created this. There will never be another Jon Moxley. There is no one like him.”

Danielson continued saying that he admires Moxley’s work saying, “I admire what he’s been able to do. I admire the risks he’s taken and the performances he puts in every single time he goes out there.”

Moxley won the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Tetsuya Naito at Windy City Riot in April 2024. He is now all set to defend his title on the line on June 8, 2024 at NJPW Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-jo Hall pay-per-view against Evil in a Lumberjack Match.
