Archery Asia Cup 2024 Stage I Baghdad: Full schedule, fixtures, India squad, live streaming details

A contingent comprising 16 members will represent India in the competition.
The first stage of the Archery Asia Cup 2024 will kick off on February 20 and run until February 25 in Baghdad, Iraq. A 16-member team will represent India in the world ranking tournament, which will be held at the Al-Shaab International Stadium.
The tournament will feature events in both recurve and compound categories and will showcase some of the top recurve archers from Asia as they gear up for the Paris Olympics 2024.
The Indian recurve team will be led by Olympians Tarundeep Rai and Pravin Ramesh Jadhav, along with Paris 2024 quota holder Dhiraj Bommadevara and youth world champion Parth Sushant Salunkhe in the men’s division.
The women’s recurve team will include former World no. 1 Deepika Kumari, who will be joined by Ankita Bhakat, Simranjeet Kaur, and Bhajan Kaur.
In the compound category, India will field Prathamesh Samadhan Jawkar, world champion Aditi Gopichand Swami, and rising star Priya Gurjar, among others. However, some of the prominent compound archers such as world champion Ojas Pravin Deotale, Asian Games 2022 gold medalist Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and silver medalist Abhishek Verma will not be participating in the event.
India had a successful run in the Archery Asia Cup 2023, winning 10, 14, and 7 medals in the three stages held in Taoyuan, Tashkent, and Singapore, respectively. The team will be hoping to continue its impressive performance in the 2024 edition.

The live streaming of the Archery Asia Cup 2024 Stage I Baghdad (only medal matches) will be available on the YouTube channel of World Archery. However, there won’t be a live telecast on any TV channels in India.
