The Indian rowing contingent will be in action.

While the Asian Games 2023 will be hosted in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8, some sports — like football, volleyball, cricket — have already commenced from September 19. The continental event includes 40 sports and 406 events, attracting over 10,000 athletes from 45 countries affiliated with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). It promises to be an impressive showcase of international athletic talent.

Modern Pentathlon makes a debut in the quadrennial event. India's sole representative Mayank Chaphekar will be seen in action. The Indian men's volleyball team after a dominating win over Cambodia in the opener would like to continue the winning run and maintain the top position in Pool C. Rowing Heats will be in action from as early as 6:30 AM in the morning. Live broadcast and streaming will be available on Sony Pictures Network.
