Sumit Antil not only defended his gold medal but also set a new world record with a stunning throw. His first attempt of 66.22m easily surpassed the Games Record of 56.29m, which he had previously set in 2018. Antil then went on to smash that record with a 73.29m attempt.

Sundar Singh added to India's glory by breaking the world record with a throw of 68.60m in the Men’s Javelin Throw-F46 final, overtaking the previous record set by Sri Lankan Dinesh Priyantha. This throw also set new records for the Games and the Asian region.

In the men’s javelin throw F37/38 category, Haney secured gold with a Games record throw of 55.97m in his third attempt. India's Ankur Dhama and Rakshitha Raju clinched gold in the men’s and women’s 1500m T11 events. Nimisha Suresh contributed to India's success by winning the 15th gold in the Women’s long jump T47 category.
