The second season will have a major focus on Paris Olympics 2024.
Four months after the first season launched, season two of SPRINT – the Netflix sports docuseries starring the fastest athletes on the planet – will launch on 13 November.
The second instalment of SPRINT is centred around the recent Paris Olympics 2024 and features an even wider array of the world’s leading sprinters, following their journey throughout the 2024 season. Fans will be excited to know more about the elite athletes and their journey to the top.
Olympic 100m champions Noah Lyles and Julien Alfred are featured, as are 200m gold medallists Gabby Thomas and Letsile Tebogo. Marcell Jacobs, Fred Kerley and Shericka Jacksons – all of whom starred in season one – will feature in the second season, alongside Kishane Thompson, Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, Kenny Bednarek and Oblique Seville.
Created by the team behind Drive to Survive, the latest edition of the docuseries shows what it takes to dig deep, pull out your personal best on a global stage, and then get back into training to continue dominating on the track. Season 2 of SPRINT is executive produced by Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, and Warren Smith at Box to Box Films.

In its first week of being released, the first season of SPRINT ranked sixth on the list of the most-watched shows on Netflix worldwide. The first season focused into the rivalry of sprinters Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley and Tokyo Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs. It was released on July 2, 2024.
The first season not only showcased the athletes’ personas, it also delves into their lives off the track. It reveals, for example, how Lyles – one of several athletes featured across the six episodes of ‘Sprint’ – overcame serious health concerns in his teens to become the poster boy for sprinting. The growth and evolution of world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson is another key storyline throughout the series.
The Paris Olympics 2024 men’s 100m final was one of the most closely contested events in the history. Lyles won gold ahead of Jamaican, Kishane Thompson as Kerley clinched bronze. Meanwhile the men’s 200m has seen the growth of Letsile Tebogo. He has continued to be on top of the event in the recently held Diamond League events.
