Kidambi Srikanth will be in action.

Title holders Lakshya Sen and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty advanced to the second round, but 2017 champion PV Sindhu crashed out after a shock defeat in the opening round of Yonex-Sunrise India Open 2023. Sindhu suffered a straight-sets loss against Thailand's Supanida Kathethong. Saina Nehwal also moved to the next round with wins in three sets. On day 2 of the India Open 2023, another set of top Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and Aakarshi Kashyap will be in action.

On January 18 apart from Srikanth and Kashyap, the doubles pair of Ashwini Bhat/Shikha Gautam and Malvika Bansod will be in action. Here is India's complete schedule on day 2 of the India Open 2023.
