Satwik-Chirag have become the latest to win all titles in the series.

Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty scripted history by becoming the first Indians to win a BWF World Tour 1000 level tournament after winning the Indonesia Open 2023 men's doubles title. In the process, the pair also completed the set of BWF World Tour Series (100, 300, 500, 750 and 1000). They are, however, not the first to achieve this unique milestone.

The BWF launched the BWF World Tour in 2018 as a replacement for the BWF Super Series. Under this, the organization holds several tournaments of different levels such as the BWF World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300, and Super 100. The goal of the tour is to organize top-tier badminton matches all over the world and offer a platform for athletes to challenge each other which, in turn, enhances the global recognition of the sport.

In this article, take a look at the athletes who have won a complete set of BWF World Tour series (Super 100, 300, 500, 750, 1000).

The Indian men’s doubles duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are the first doubles pair to have completed the BWF World Tour series, including Super 100, Super 300, Super 500, Super 750, and Super 1000 titles. Popularly known as the "Brothers of Destruction", the shuttlers are the latest ones to achieve this feat after they grabbed the Indonesia Open 2023 title on June 18, 2023.

This was their first BWF World Tour Super 1000 title, which they earned by defeating the reigning World Champions Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik of Malaysia in a dominating fashion 21-17, 21-18. What made the victory even more memorable is the fact that this was the Indian pair’s first win against their Malaysian rivals in nine meetings.

Satwiksairaj and Chirag won their first BWF World Tour Super 100 title way back in the year 2018 when they got past the Indonesian pair of Akbar Bintang/Reza Pahlevi by 21-16, 21-14 in the Hyderabad Open 2018. The duo’s next big accomplishment was the Thailand Open, their first Super 500 title, which they claimed in 2019 after pulling off a major upset against the reigning world champions Li Junhui/ Liu Yuchen in the finals by 21-19, 18-21, 21-18.

After finishing as the runner-up of the French Open in 2019, Satwik and Chirag finally got possession of the French Open title in 2022. To accomplish this, they went on to defeat Chinese Taipei’s Lu Ching Yao/Yang Po Han in straight sets by 21-13, 21-19. The next year, Satwik and Chirag bagged their first-ever Super 300 title, also their first win of the 2023 season. This was when they claimed the Swiss Open 2023 by defeating China’s Ren Xiang Yu and Tan Qiang by 21-19, 24-22.

She accomplished this rare feat at the Indonesia Open 2023, when she clinched the Indonesia Open 2023, a Super 1000 crown, alongside Lee So-hee in the women’s doubles.

Her first-ever BWF World Tour title victory was when she partnered with Kim Hye-rin to win the Lingshui China Masters in 2019. They defeated China’s women’s doubles pair of Liu Xuanxuan/Xia Yuting in a three-set game by 21-14, 14-21, 21-15. The same year, she went on to win her first Super 750 title, this time with Jung Kyung-Eun, as the pair won the Denmark Open.

Baek Ha-na earned another BWF World Tour title in 2019 with Kyung-Eun which was the Syed Modi International, the Super 300 crown, to conclude a successful season. From 2020 to 2022, Baek Ha-na reached the finals of four BWF World Tour events but had to settle for the runner-up position.

The 2023 season has proven to be a great year so far for the Korean, as she has grabbed the Super 300 German Open, Super 500 Malaysia Masters, and lastly the Indonesia Open to secure herself a place in this unique list.
