Top men’s singles badminton players to watch out in 2024
Alwi Farhan
This 18-year-old Indonesian prodigy is the 2023 World Junior Champion. He boasts a win-loss match record of 121/29 across international challenges, series, future series, and junior tournaments. Currently ranked 60th in the world, Farhan is viewed as having a complete game to make a significant impact in the senior circuit.
Ayush Shetty
Ayush Shetty, an 18-year-old Indian prodigy, is currently ranked 111th in the world. He is a bronze medalist from the 2023 World Junior Championships. With a 56/19 win-loss match record and a title from the three tournaments he played across international challenges, series, future series, and junior tournaments, Shetty is one to watch. Recently, he finished as a runner-up at the 2023 Odisha Masters on his home soil. Standing at around 6’3″ and boasting a strong attacking game, he is expected to elevate India’s Men’s singles to the next level.
Alex Lanier
Alex Lanier, another 18-year-old prodigy from France, is currently ranked 44th in the world. He is a bronze medalist from the 2023 Junior World Championships and was also a part of the 2023 Sudirman Cup French squad. He has won a total of six titles among the 13 finals he played, with a 158/62 win-loss match record across international challenges, series, future series, and junior tournaments.

Kuo Kuan Lin
Kuo Kuan Lin, a 19-year-old Taiwanese prodigy and the 2022 Junior World Champion, is yet to make a significant mark but has performed well in the later stages of 2023. He has a 52/25 win-loss match record across international challenges, series, future series, and junior tournaments.
