The 2025 edition of the BWF World Championships will begin on 25 August.

The BWF World Championships 2025, scheduled to be held in Paris, is just around the corner, and participating nations are stepping up their final preparations. As part of their build-up, the Malaysia national singles squad will travel to Copenhagen for a five-day training camp with the Denmark national team, starting on 18 August.

The Malaysian contingent will include top shuttlers such as Leong Jun Hao in men’s singles, Karupathevan Letshanaa in women’s singles, and rising star Justin Hoh.

Malaysia’s National Director of Singles Badminton Kenneth Jonassen believes that the training camp is a “win-win situation” for the team, as it provides an ideal warm-up ahead of the BWF World Championships, which will be held from August 25 to 31. Both Jun Hao and Letshanaa, have been qualified for the upcoming world meet.

“This training camp is a win-win situation. It offers our players a fresh start and a highly competitive environment that can help them raise their level and sharpen their game,” Kenneth was quoted as saying in a statement by Badminton Malaysia.
