BWF Vietnam Open 2024: Live streaming, TV Channel, where and how to watch?

There will be 68 seeded players in the men’s and women’s singles draw.

The BWF Vietnam Open 2024 is set to begin in a few days as the fans will gear up for multiple events this week. The Yonex-Sunrise Vietnam Open 2024 will be the 19th edition of the event on the BWF tour. It will begin after the conclusion of BWF Taipei Open 2024 on September 8.

The BWF tour super 100 event will see Jason Teh of Singapore spearheading the men’s attack as the top seed. India’s Sathish Kumar Karunakaran will be the second seed and reached the third round last year at the event. 21-year-old Joakim Oldorff will be the third seed who has not reached a final in the last six months.

Top seed and two-time defending champion Nguyen Thuy Linh will seek a hat-trick of titles at the event in women’s singles. She will look to perform well in Vietnam and try to win her first title of the 2024 season. Linh has played 19 matches this season while winning only nine of them. Second seed, Anupama Upadhaya will be playing her first match in two months.

There will be Indians in men’s and women’s singles with a direct entry into the main draw of BWF Vietnam Open 2024. There will be five pairs each in the men’s doubles and women’s doubles with a direct entry in the main draw of the event. Meanwhile in the mixed doubles, there will only be four Indian pairs with direct entry in the main draw at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Sourabh Verma was the first Indian to win the BWF Vietnam Open in men’s singles in 2018. The Indian player was seeded second six years back and had defeated Sun Feixiang in the final. This year, there are a lot of opportunities for the Indian players in all five categories of the event.

When and where will BWF Vietnam Open 2024 take place?

The Vietnam Open 2024 will take place from September 10 to 15. The main draw will get confirmed once the qualifiers are over. The matches will be held at Nguyen Du Cultural Sports Club at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
