The India Open 2025 is all set to take place from January 14 to January 19, 2025.

India’s largest ever contingent of 21 entries will take part in the India Open 2025 which begins on January 14 at the IG Stadium in New Delhi. The tournament has seen a 50% increase from the previous editions’ 14 entries. Defending Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen, An Se Young, and world #1 Shi Yuqi headline the Super 750 event, which also awards 11,000 ranking points to champions.

Now coming back to Indian hopes, Asian Games gold medal winners Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are leading India’s charge. Two-time Olympic medal winner PV Sindhu and 2022 champion Lakshya Sen also boost India’s shot at the title.

The men’s singles draw has 18 of the world’s top 20 players, while 14 top-20 players fight it out in women’s singles. Paris Olympics medalists Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang (silver) and Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik (bronze) head up the doubles field.
