India has been placed in Group C along with Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 are set to start on June 28 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. An 18-member Indian squad will participate in this 24th edition of the tournament. This year’s event will see 15 teams competing in both mixed-team and individual categories.

The teams have been split into four groups, with India placed in Group C along with Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The tournament aims to showcase the best U-19 badminton talent. The mixed team events will be held from June 28 to July 2, followed by individual events from July 3 to July 7.

In 2023, the Chinese team dominated the tournament, securing three gold and a total of nine medals. Japan followed with two gold and four medals overall, while the host nation, Indonesia, claimed one gold and a total of four medals.
