FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) 1014 Final 8 will take place in Doha, Qatar from May 25 to June 1. This is the first time Qatar is hosting the event after the inaugural edition took place in the United Arab Emirates.

The Final 8 lineup consists of teams qualified from the FIBA WASL Sub-Zone Leagues. Kuwait Club, Manama, and Kazma will represent the Gulf region. Al Riyadi, Shahrdari Gorgan, and Sagesse Sports Club form the West Asia contingent, while BC Astana from Central Asia and Tamil Nadu from South Asia complete the eight-team field.

The teams have been divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals. The finalists of the FIBA WASL Final 8 2024 will earn spots in the inaugural Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia), scheduled for June 9-15, 2024, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Tamil Nadu will represent India and are likely to feature Indian internationals who recently played in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers. However, former Indian captain and Arjuna awardee Vishesh Bhriguvanshi will not be participating.

Qatar has previously hosted basketball events such as the FIBA U16 Asia Cups in 2022 and 2023, as well as the FIBA Asia Cup in 2005.
