Twitterati praise 'exceptional' Mirabai Chanu after Commonwealth Games gold

Well, the Super-Woman of India has done it yet again. Mirabai Chanu has once again clinched the Gold medal in Commonwealth Games and defended her Golden colour medal by creating a Game Record of 201kg in the 49kg Weightlifting category. There is a wave of joy across the country for the first Gold of Commonwealth Games 2022 for India. Many Politicians, celebrities and common people came ahead and congratulated Mirabai for her incredulous achievement on social platforms.  

Narendra Modi showed his delight on Twitter about Mirabai’s victory and congratulated her for the new record made by her and mentioned her as an inspiration to the millions of Indians out there. 

Master Blaster also congratulated Mirabai on her performance and praised her and said she is miles ahead of the competition. He added and congratulated her on the new record she clinched in this CWG. 

President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu also congratulated Mirabai Chanu on her incredible achievement and thanked the Gold Medallist for creating a wave of joy and celebration across the country. She also expressed her happiness for the new record set by the Indian Weightlifter in the Commonwealth Games and for winning the first gold medal of the season.
