After having a spectacular day 2 at Birmingham Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022, it’s time for another power-packed day for India. Indian athletes are giving their utmost at the ongoing 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Birmingham. Day 2 saw several high-profile athletes in action. On a successful day, India won its first gold through the excellent Mirabai Chanu in the 49kg weightlifting category. She set a new Commonwealth Games record by lifting a total of 201 kg. Three more medals were won by the Indian athletes in the weightlifting discipline on Saturday.
