List of centuries hit by Indian batsmen in ICC U19 World Cup 2024

Four Indian batsmen have hit centuries in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 so far.

India U19 batters have had a terrific outing so far in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Musheer Khan has dazzled the world stage with two magnificent centuries for his side so far. Musheer Khan has also become only the second Indian batter to score multiple centuries in a single U19 World Cup after Shikhar Dhawan. He is also leading the highest run-scorers chart of the tournament by some distance.

Indian U19 side are marching towards the semi-finals of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2024. India are currently the defending champions as they won the previous edition after defeating England in the finals in 2022. India will be looking to secure the title once again. Let’s have a look at the list of centuries hit by Indian batsmen in the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup 2024.

1. Musheer Khan vs Ireland U19 – 118 in Bloemfontein :

Right hand batter Musheer Khan was the first batter from this U19 Indian batch to score a century in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024. Musheer Khan scored a ton against Ireland U19 at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. Musheer scored 118 runs in 106 balls, which included nine fours and four sixes. Musheer’s terrific performance led India to a massive 201-run win against Ireland U19. India dismissed Ireland for just 100 runs after they posted 301 runs on the board in the first innings.

2. Arshin Kulkarni vs USA U19 – 108 in Bloemfontein :

Indian all-rounder Arshin Kulkarni was the second centurion for India in the ongoing ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Arashik Kulkarni scored 108 runs in 118 balls with eight fours and three big sixes against USA U19. Arshin’s century led India to a dominating 201-run win over USA U19 in the final league stage game. India posted 326 in the first innings and restricted USA for just 125 runs.

3. Musheer Khan vs New Zealand U19 – 131 in Bloemfontein :

This was Musheer Khan’s second century in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. He also became only the second Indian batter after Shikhar Dhawan to score two centuries in single edition of a U19 World Cup. Musheer Khan scored 131 runs in 126 balls with 13 fours and three sixes in this innings. India defeated New Zealand by 214 runs in the match as they bowled out New Zealand for just 81 after posting a total of 295 runs on the board in the first innings.

4. Sachin Dhas vs Nepal U19 – 116 in Bloemfontein :

India U19 batter Sachin Dhas was the third centurion for India U19 in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024. Middle-order batter Sachin Dhas smashed his first hundred against Nepal U19 in the Super Six round game at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. Sachin scored 116 runs in 101 balls with 11 fours and three sixes in his innings. His innings helped India U19 score close to 300 runs.

5. Uday Saharan vs Nepal U19 – 100 in Bloemfontein :

Captain Uday Saharan also joined the list of centurions for India in the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 in South Africa. Batting at number four, right-hand batter Uday Saharan scored 100 runs in 107 balls with nine boundaries against Nepal U19 in the Super Six game. Uday Saharan touched his milestone in the final over of Indian innings against Nepal. India posted 297 runs in 50 overs.
