RR will clash with GT in the fight for the top spot in IPL 2023 points table on Friday.

The trio of Rajasthan Royals players Joe Root, Devdutt Padikkal, and Dhruv Jurel were involved in a fun segment for the franchise, which was shared on the team’s social media accounts as well. The trio participated in the ‘This or That’ segment, where they had to choose between one thing or the other.

The game involved asking Padikkal, Jurel, and Root a question which had two options shown on the screen and they had to move in the direction of their choice.

One of the questions was whom they would like to play under the captaincy of- MS Dhoni or Virat Kohli. Hilariously both Indian players Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel chose MS Dhoni, leaving Root laughing, as he sort of unwillingly moved towards Dhoni.

This was interesting as Padikkal had made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2020 and played two seasons for them before joining the Rajasthan Royals franchise.

The next question was to choose between Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer and Joe Root and Devdutt Padikkal chose Federer, while Dhruv Jurel went for Nadal.

Also asked of them was to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and while Root went for Argentine Messi, Jurel and Padikkal chose the Portuguese Ronaldo.

Rajasthan Royals to challenge Gujarat Titans for top spot

When Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans square off in IPL 2023 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday, the two teams will be vying for first place in the points standings. Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, are atop the standings with 12 points despite losing to Delhi Capitals by five runs. With 10 points, the fourth-place Rajasthan Royals are currently.

Despite losing by five runs to the wooden spooners Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans are atop the standings with 12 points, while the Royals are in fourth place with 10 points.

Despite having a lot of talent, the Sanju Samson-led team has recently struggled to maintain a winning streak. In their last six games, Rajasthan has won three and lost three.
