RCB have lost two games in a row in IPL 2026.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to clash with the Mumbai Indians (MI) in their next match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The encounter will take place on May 10 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
The Rajat Patidar & Co. are currently placed in the third spot in the points table and are among the favourites to make it to the playoffs. However, their recent performance have put them in a spot of bother as they lost two consecutive games against Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)
The race for the playoffs has become intense and all the teams are toiling hard to finish in the top four positions in the points table. RCB will leave no stone unturned to grab a victory in their next game against MI after two back-to-back defeats. In this listicle, let’s look at three changes RCB can make in the encounter.
3 changes RCB could make against MI to make a comeback in IPL 2026
1. Jordan Cox in place Jacob Bethell

Due to Phil Salt’s finger injury, RCB were forced to add Jacob Bethell as an opener alongside Virat Kohli in recent games. However, the left-handed batsman has struggle to make a mark, scoring just 43 runs in four innings.
His struggles have added pressure on Kohli as well as the middle-order batters. Hence, Bengaluru can replace him with Jordan Cox in the upcoming clash.
2. Venkatesh Iyer in place of Romario Shepherd

Romaio Shepherd has looked far from his best in IPL 2026. He has scored just 79 runs in six innings and has struggled to execute an aggressive batting show in the death overs.
With the ball, he has clinched five wickets in 10 games at an economy of 12.94. Therefore, the Rajat Patidar-led side can opt for Venkatesh Iyer over him against MI. Iyer was picked in two games and scored 41 runs, including an unbeaten 29 runs in one game.
3. Jacob Duffy in place of Rasikh Salam Dar

Rasikh Salam Dar has featured in six games so far, clinching seven wickets at an economy of 9.52. He emerged too expensive in the previous game, leaking 53 runs in his four-over spell. In the last four matches, he has taken only two wickets.
RCB can bring back Jacob Duffy into their playing XI by dropping Dar. At the start of the season, Duffy showed an impressive performance, clinching six wickets in three games including a three-wicket haul on his debut.
