With just three days left in Rahul Dravid's contract, BCCI yet to take a final call

Rahul Dravid was appointed India's head coach in October 2021 replacing Ravi Shastri.
Indian cricket team will be without any support staff after the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, as Rahul Dravid's contract will come to an end after the mega event. Rahul Dravid was appointed as Indian team head coach after India’s dismal performance in the T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to take a call on team India support staff.
BCCI is mulling to extend the contract of India’s support staff, led by former Indian captain Rahul Dravid. BCCI wants to reward them for their magnificent performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Team India have had a dominating run so far and qualified for the World Cup finals in Ahmedabad and haven't lost any league game. Vikram Rathore is currently serving as batting coach, and Paras Mhambrey is bowling coach and T. Dilip is the fielding coach.
Rahul Dravid himself not sure
Rahul Dravid is himself uncertain about his association with Indian cricket team, as he is expected to resign voluntarily after the World Cup. Rahul Dravid was a reluctant man when Sourav Ganguly-led BCCI and appointed him the head coach, replacing Ravi Shastri. The BCCI has had no discussions so far with Rahul Dravid about the future of his role with Indian cricket team. Dravid is currently focused only on the ongoing World Cup.
According to a few reports, VVS Laxman will be taking up the role of head coach during India’s bilateral T20I series against Australia right after the World Cup. Rahul Dravid will be taking a short break and may reflect on his role. VVS Laxman is currently serving as National Cricket Academy (NCA) chair and had served as interim head coach when Rahul Dravid took a break between two series. India won the gold medal in Asian Games under Laxman's guidance.
BCCI is yet to pick a squad for the upcoming series and might announce it on the next day after the World Cup finals on November 19. It is expected that several key players will be rested for the 5-match T20I series scheduled to commence on November 23 at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
