AB de Villiers takes a big U-turn, now apologizes for spreading fake news on Virat Kohli

Few days back, AB de Villiers said Virat Kohli and Anushka are expecting their second child.
Former South African captain and Virat Kohli‘s RCB teammate AB de Villiers has corrected himself and apologized for sharing false information regarding the star Indian batter. Virat Kohli skipped the first two test matches against England in the ongoing five-match test series citing personal reasons. According to few reports, Virat is likely to skip the third test in Rajkot as well.
Virat Kohli has not revealed the exact reason for his absence and so many speculations are going around. Just a few days ago, Virat’s former RCB teammate AB De Villiers revealed that Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child and this is why Virat has decided to skip the first two test matches in the ongoing series. Now, AB de Villiers has apologized for spreading fake news.
AB de Villiers apologizes for spreading rumour
The SA20 brand ambassador backtracked from his statement on the sidelines of South Africa’s prestigious SA20 league. Talking about his earlier statement on Virat Kohli. AB de Villiers said, “Family comes first, it’s priority as I said on my Youtube channel. I also made a terrible mistake at the same time, sharing false information that was not true at all.”
AB de Villiers added that he is not aware about why Virat Kohli is not part of the Indian squad. He added. “I just think that whatever is best for Virat and his family comes first, no one knows what’s happening there. All I can do is wish him well. Whatever the reason is for this break, I really hope he comes back stronger and better, healthy and fresh and ready to take on the world.”
A few news reports have also suggested that Virat Kohli is likely to skip all the final three test matches against England. Team India have suffered many injuries during the series. Shreyas Iyer is also in danger of missing the final three test matches. He complained of stiff back and groin pain at the end of the second test in Visakhapatnam. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are likely to come back in the squad for remainder of the series.
