Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is playing his 11th IPL Final.

Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is the star attraction in the Indian Premier League. In terms of crowd support, MS Dhoni has earned respect around the world with his game and the way he carries himself in and out of the field. Chennai Super Kings are playing their 10th IPL final out of 14 seasons they have played. They are taking on Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Despite being a home ground for Gujarat Titans, CSK captain MS Dhoni seems to have gathered a huge crowd in his favour as well. Dhoni has been a star of the season all along in the IPL 2023. 

Huge reception for MS Dhoni

The crowd at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium went noisy when MS Dhoni was making his entry into the ground before the game. Dhoni was coming out from the CSK dressing room for a practice session and to get ready for the toss, when he was walking down the stairs crowd cheered him all along his way to the playing field. MS Dhoni looked in his usual calm and jovial mood. In a video shared by IPL on Twitter, MS Dhoni was seen giving tips to Gujarat Titans Hardik Pandya. MS Dhoni has earned the same reception in all the IPL 2023 games he played, even in away venues.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first against Gujarat Titans. CSK defeated Titans in qualifier one for the first ever time in the IPL history. So far, these two teams have faced each other four times and CSK won only once, while Titans won thrice. MS Dhoni is playing his 11th IPL final, 10 with Chennai Super Kings and one with Rising Pune Super Giants. CSK have won the IPL title for 4-time while Gujarat Titans won their maiden title in the IPL 2022.
