Pakistan had an epic collapse against India at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. After being 155 for 2, Pakistan were curtailed to just 191 runs in 42 overs. Pakistan's top-order had a magnificent start against India in a new-ball attack but the middle order couldn’t carry on with the momentum going forward in the innings. Indian bowlers had a magnificent run against Pakistan batters after captain Babar Azam lost his wicket to Mohammed Siraj.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan were going strong for the third wicket partnership and had added 82 runs to take Pakistan to a comfortable position. Babar’s wicket gave Indian fans a sheer amount of joy as he started to look threatening and set for a big total against India. As soon as Babar’s bails went down, the Ahmedabad crowd roared, and cheered up with excitement.

Famous Bollywood singer Arijit Singh was also present at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After Pakistan captain Babar’s wicket, Arijit celebrated in a unique style of waving India’s t-shirt. This looked almost similar to Sourav Ganguly’s infamous celebration at the Lord’s. Sourav Ganguly went topless and waved his t-shirt after winning the Natwest trophy final against England in 2002. This became an iconic moment in Indian cricket.

Arijit Singh is present at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad to cheer for India and also perform in the pre-match musical ceremony that was scheduled exclusively for the Ahmedabad crowd. Arijit, Sukhwinder Singh, and a few other Bollywood stars performed for the Ahmedabad crowd exclusively as the ceremony was not broadcasted live on any platform. There was a 10-minute show during the innings break as well.
Pakistan were bundled out for 191 runs after a magnificent bowling performance from Indian bowlers. All of them apart from Shardul Thakur chipped in with 2 wickets each in the innings. Pakistan were looking set for a big total when Babar (50) and Rizwan (49) were batting together. Indian top-order are currently cruising towards their target of 192 runs.
