Netherlands off-spinner Aryan Dutt had a magnificent start to the spell against New Zealand in Hyderabad. Dutt started with two back-to-back maiden overs against in-from Devon Conway and his opening partner Will Young. Aryan had a magnificent game as a bowler against the Kiwis and finished up with two wickets. Aryan conceded 62 runs in his 10 overs and picked up captain Tom Latham and Mark Chapman.
Aryan had a special guest in the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium stands to take inspiration from in today’s big encounter. Aryan Dutt’s father was present in the stadium to witness his son’s magnificent bowling spell in Hyderabad. His father was spotted clapping and cheering from the stands as he dismissed two of the brilliant Kiwi batters in the first innings. Aryan also acknowledged his presence while fielding at the boundary line.

20 years off-spinner Aryan Dutt has impressed everyone with his talent in the first two World Cup games, Dutch skipper Scott Edwards has used him in powerplay and Aryan has opened the bowling in both games of Netherlands. Aryan Dutt dismissed Saud Shakeel in his World Cup debut game against Pakistan and conceded just 48 runs in his 10 overs spell. Aryan helped the Dutch pacers with his economical bowling spell.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, Aryan Dutt belongs to Indian origin. His parents moved from Hoshiarpur Punjab to the Netherlands 35 years ago and settled in a new country. Aryan Dutt was born in 2003 and he took cricket as his passion after India’s 2011 World Cup win under MS Dhoni. Aryan has also travelled to India for a few years and was trained under local coaches in Chandigarh before making his international debut for the Netherlands.
Aryan wants to meet his family members residing in Delhi and Chandigarh during his World Cup campaign in India. Not just with bowling, the young Dutch off-spinner has made a significant contribution with the bat as well. Aryan Dutt has helped the Netherlands go past the 200 runs mark once again in the World Cup 2023 and added a decent partnership for the 9th wicket along with Saybrand Engelbrecht.
