Sri Lanka, having already secured two points, would want to maintain their winning momentum. A win against India would guarantee their place in the finals, raising their chances of clinching the coveted Asia Cup 2023.
Most of the matches in Asia Cup 2023 has been ruined due to rain and matches have been called-off due to that. If rain washes out the India vs Sri Lanka match, both teams will not leave empty-handed.
