Asia Cup 2023: Points Table, Most Runs, Most Wickets After 5th Match, IND vs NEP

India have qualified for the Super 4 stage of Asia Cup 2023 along with Pakistan from group A.

India have qualified for the super 4 along with arch-rivals Pakistan from group A. India recorded a 10 wickets victory against Nepal. Rain did play a spoilsport during the game and shortened the 50-overs format to 23-overs due to the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS). Bowling first Indian bowlers were looking to find their rhythm, while Indian bowlers scalped all 10 wickets of Nepal but it came after Nepal batters put on a total of 230 runs. Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja both picked three-wickets each. The target was reduced to 145 in 23 overs, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill batted really well, taking the team across the line without loosing any wickets.

As the game ended with India winning the match, India ended the league stage with three points along with Pakistan and both have qualified for the super four stage. While Nepal ended the table with zero points in group A. Pakistan already had qualified for the super 4 round after there game against India. Pakistan thrashed Nepal by 238 runs to earn 2 points from their Asia Cup 2023 opener. On the other hand, India won the game against Nepal to secure their place in the super four from group A. India will be playing their next game against Pakistan on 10th September, Sunday.
