Asia Cup 2025: Most runs, most wickets after match 7, UAE vs OMN

Match 7 of Asia Cup 2025, UAE vs OMN, took place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
UAE and Oman locked horns in seventh match of Asia Cup 2025 on Monday, September 15. Oman registered a poor loss as they failed to chase down a 173-run target in the encounter, getting all out for 130 runs.
UAE pacer Junaid Siddique clinched a four-wicket haul to power his team to victory, while Haider Ali and Muhammad Jawadullah clinched two wickets each as they kept their team alive in the tournament.
Earlier, Oman won the toss and opted to bowl first, and the decision backfired as the UAE had a great outing with the bat. Openers Alishan Sharafu (51) and Muhammad Waseem (69) hammered half-centuries and etched a brilliant opening stand of 88 runs. Muhammad Zohaib (21) and Harshit Kaushik (19*) added crucial runs in the end as the UAE piled up a big total of 172/5.

With his half-century against Oman, UAE skipper Muhammad Waseem has become the highest run-scorer of Asia Cup 2025. Bangladesh skipper Litton Das holds the second spot with 87 runs. Afghanistan’s Sediqullah Atal and UAE’s Alishan Sharafu are next on the list with 73 runs each. They are followed by Pakistan’s Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan, both of whom have scored 69 runs.
