Super Four Match 2 of Asia Cup 2025, IND vs PAK, took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Indian Cricket Team crushed Pakistan Cricket Team by six wickets in the Super Four match 2 of Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, September 21. While chasing 172 runs, Indian openers Abhishek Sharma (74) and Shubman Gill (47) gave a blistering start to the innings, setting up an opening stand of 105 runs.

India lost captain Suryakumar Yadav for a duck. However, Tilak Varma (30) and Hardik Pandya (7) ensured to get the winning runs for the team in just 18.5 overs. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf got two wickets while Abrar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf picked one scalp each. However, not getting early breakthroughs cost Pakistan the game in what looked like a defendable total.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pakistan lost opener Fakhar Zaman (15) cheaply in the third over. His opening partner Sahibzada Farhan (58) scored a blistering half-century to provide a brilliant start to batting, taking the scoreboard to 55/1 in the powerplay overs.

Farhan and Saim Ayub built a 72-run stand for the second wicket. Till the 10th over, Pakistan crossed 90 runs on the scoreboard and looked confident to reach a mammoth total. However, Shivam Dube picked two wickets while Kuldeep Yadav clinched one wicket to put breaks on Pakistan’s run-rate. In the end, the Men in Green finished with 171/5 on the scoreboard.
