Asia Cup 2025: Most runs, most wickets after Super Four match 3, PAK vs SL

Super Four Match 3 of Asia Cup 2025, PAK vs SL, took place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Pakistan Cricket Team defeated Sri Lanka Cricket Team by five wickets in the Super Four match 3 of Asia Cup 2025 on Tuesday, September 23. The Men in Green chased down a 134-run target in the clash at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi and kept heir hopes alive to reach the final.
Sahibzada Farhan (24) and Fakhar Zaman (17) batted aggressively at the top, adding an opening stand of 45 runs to take their team off to a decent start with the bat. However, middle-order failed to capitalise the start as key batters were dismissed for low scores with Pakistan left reeling at 80 for five.
With team under pressure, Hussain Talat (32*) and Mohammad Nawaz (38*) helped the team to reach the target with their unbeaten knocks. They added 58* runs together and counter-attacked the Sri Lanka bowlers to take their team home in 18 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan skipper Salman Agha won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pacer Shaheen Afridi provided his team with an early breakthrough, dismissing opener Kusal Mendis for a duck on the second ball of the innings.
Key batters in Pathum Nissanka (8), Kusal Perera (15), Charith Asalanka (20), and Dasun Shanaka (0), who have been in the decent form in the Asia Cup 2025, lost their wickets cheaply. Amid the collapse, Kamindu Mendis (50) was the shinning light for his team. He hit a solid fifty and helped his team reach a respectable total of 133/8. Afridi clinched a three-wicket haul for Pakistan, while Haris Rauf and Hussain Talat got two scalps each. Abrar Ahmed also bagged one wicket.

Abhishek Sharma is the leading run-scorer in Asia Cup 2025 with 173 runs. Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 24 runs in the match, takes the second spot with 156 runs. Pathum Nissanka (154) and Towhid Hridoy (127) follow him at the third and fourth spots respectively. With 122 runs each, Fakhar Zaman and Kusal Mendis are the next batters in the list.
