Cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar answered a lot of queries of the fans in a QnA session on twitter on Friday.

Former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar engaged in a Q&A session with his fans ahead of his 50th birthday, answering some of the most interesting questions related on and off the field. The cricketing icon named his favourite footballer, his favourite century, and favourite shot among all other questions.

When asked by a Twitter user about his favourite footballer, Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture of Lionel Messi holding the FIFA World Cup he won with Argentina last year as captain. The 49-year-old stated that his favourite hundred was the one scored in Perth in 1992 and finished with 114. With the verified blue tick of several Twitter users missing, he gave the perfect response when asked by a user about his authentication.

While the Wankhede Stadium remains the legend's home ground, Sachin Tendulkar revealed that Chepauk at Chennai is his favourite venue outside of the former. With his son Arjun Tendulkar playing for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023, the run-machine wishes he could play alongside him and Rohit Sharma for the franchise.

Tendulkar, who was dismissed without scoring big in the 2011 World Cup final, advised Virat Kohli to counter the swing, with the latter walking out to bat next. Yet another user asked the former batter to choose between straight drive and upper cut. The Mumbai-born cricketer chose the upper cut played against Brett Lee played in a Test Down Under.

When asked by a user to name his favourite memory with the Mumbai Indians, the 49-year-old revealed that winning the 2017 final stands out. The Mumbai Indians won their third title in four years by defending a mere 129 in the decider against the Pune Super Giants. Recalling his meeting with the late Lata Mangeshkar, the legend described her as 'immortal'.
