KL Rahul's wife Athiya Shetty congratulated the cricketer after scoring a century in his comeback.

Athiya Shetty took to Instagram to share a love-filled post celebrating her husband and cricketer KL Rahul's century in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan being played at Colombo on September 11, 2023.

India resumed their innings from yesterday at 147/2 in 24.1 overs with KL Rahul and Virat Kohli on the crease. The Pakistan side was hurt badly when Haris Rauf suffered a side strain, and it was revealed by Pakistan team management that he wouldn’t be bowling any further in this contest.

After a few precautionary overs, Rahul and Kohli turned on the heat and counterattacked the Pakistani bowlers as Babar Azam failed to keep his grasp on the situation and was looking for the sixth bowler to come good in Rauf’s absence.

Indian wicket-keeper-batsman Rahul made a perfect comeback to international cricket as he slammed a century against arch-rivals Pakistan in their Asia Cup super four clash on Monday.

It was a sublime innings by the Karnataka batter, who was playing his first ODI since March 2022, as he not only took singles and doubles but also slammed boundaries at will. He brought up his century in 100 balls, with 12 fours and 2 sixes to his name.

Actress Athiya Shetty, who is married to KL Rahul, cheered for her husband.

KL Rahul's wife Athiya took it to Instagram congratulating the cricketer, she wrote, "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise… You are everything, I love you."

Virat Kohli slams 47th ODI ton and helps India post 356/2

Not only Rahul, but Virat Kohli also took full advantage and completed his 47th ODI ton, becoming only the fifth batter in the history of the format to go past the 13,000-run mark. Thanks to these two brilliant knocks, India posted 356/2 in 50 overs.
