England lost their top three batters for cheap, being reduced to 57/3. However, Joe Root and Harry Brook brought England back in the game. Root ended day one on 72* with eight boundaries, while Brook was on 78* with six fours and one six to his name. The duo have added 154 unbeaten runs for the fourth wicket as England ended day one on 211/3.
