Australia announce 2023-24 home season schedule; set to host Pakistan for 3 Tests & West Indies for 8 matches in multi-format series

Six Tests, Nine ODIs & Nine T20Is to be played by Australia's men's and women's teams between October and February.
Cricket Australia has announced its home season schedule for the 2023-24 calendar year for both the men’s and women’s teams. After the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in India at the end of this year, Australia will stay back to face the Men in Blue in a bilateral white-ball series.
Australia's home summer will begin in December with a three-match Test series against Pakistan. Before they go to the MCG for the customary Boxing Day Test, the Test series against Pakistan, which will be a part of the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC), begins in Perth on December 14. In the following year of 2024, the series will come to a close at the SCG.
At Adelaide Oval and The Gabba, Australia will host the West Indies in a two-match Test series, with The Gabba hosting the summer's lone pink-ball match. The men's squad will conclude their home summer with a three-match ODI series and a T20I series against the West Indies.
The men's Test scheduling also means those players who specialize in white-ball formats will be available for much of the KFC BBL season, which confirmed a reduction in total matches for BBL 13 on Friday.
