His best bowling performance of 6/23 at the venue came against Sri Lanka in 2019.

His remarkable record at the venue includes four five-wicket hauls, the most by any Australian bowler.
His best bowling performance at the Gabba is 6/17, which came against the West Indies in 2000 and earned him the Player of the Match award as it helped Australia to a dominant win by an innings and 126 runs.

Legendary leg spinner Shane Warne is the most successful Australian test bowler at the Gabba with 68 wickets. What makes Warne stand out is the fact that he achieved this remarkable feat as a leg spinner on the pacer-friendly Brisbane pitch.
Warne’s impressive wicket tally at the Gabba has come at an average of 20.30, including three five-wicket hauls.
Warne is the second-most successful test bowler in history, with 708 wickets, second only to Muttiah Muralitharan’s 800 wickets.
