What is Australia's updated squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025?

Australia will kick off their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against England on February 22.
Australia’s have forced to make as many as five changes to their provisional squad for the ICC Champions Trophy that they have named last month due to untimely injuries to three players and pull outs by two players for different reasons.
First, it was Mitchell Marsh who was ruled out of the tournament in Pakistan and Dubai (only India matches) due to a back injury.
Then the captain Pat Cummins and fast bowler Josh Hazlewood were ruled out due to ankle and hip injuries respectively.
Around the same time, Marcus Stoinis announced a shock retirement from ODI cricket despite being named in the provisional squad for the Champions Trophy.
And on the deadline day for submission of the final squad, it was confirmed that Mitchell Starc, who recently took part in the test series in Galle, has opted out of the competition due to personal reasons.
Speaking on Starc pulling out of the tournament, chair of selectors George Bailey said, “We understand and respect Mitch’s decision. Mitch is deeply respected for his commitment to international cricket and the priority he places on performing for Australia.
“His well documented ability to play through pain and adversity, as well as forgoing opportunities in other parts of his career to put his country first should be applauded. His loss is of course a blow for the Champions Trophy campaign but does provide an opportunity to someone else to make a mark on the tournament.”
Australia have named their five replacements: Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Spencer Johnson and Tanveer Sangha.
In Cummins’ absence, Steve Smith, who captained Australia to a 2-0 test series win in Sri Lanka, will lead Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Australia’s updated squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025:
Steve Smith (C), Sean Abbott, Alex Carey, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Aaron Hardie, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Spencer Johnson, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Tanveer Sangha, Matthew Short, Adam Zampa
