Talking about the match, Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hasan Shanto opted to bat first. However, his decision backfired as the hosts were blown away for just 106 runs. For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada, Wiaan Mulder, and Keshav Maharaj picked up three wickets each in the first innings.
In reply, South Africa were in deep trouble after left-arm spinner Taijul bagged a five-wicket haul. However, Wiaan Mulder (17) and Kyle Verreynne (18) took visitors to 140/6 at stumps on Day 1. South Africa are leading by 34 runs at the moment.
