Bangladesh to host the West Indies for white-ball series; Schedule announced

Bangladesh will host the West Indies for three ODIs and as many T20Is.

Bangladesh Cricket Team will host the West Indies for a white-ball series in October-November. During the West Indies’ tour of Bangladesh 2025, both teams will play three ODIs and an equal number of T20Is.

The campaign will begin with the first ODI game on October 18. The next two matches will be played on October 20 and 23. All these games will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

Later, both sides will lock horns in three T20I games, scheduled to be played on October 27, 30, and November 1. The venue for the T20I matches is Bir Shrestho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram, which was previously known as Zahur Ahmed Cricket Stadium.

• 1st ODI: October 18 (Dhaka)
• 2nd ODI: October 20 (Dhaka)
• 3rd ODI: October 23 (Dhaka)
• 1st T20I: October 27 (Chattogram)
• 2nd T20I: October 30 (Chattogram)
• 3rd T20I: November 1 (Chattogram)

Meanwhile, Bangladesh are currently busy in Asia Cup 2025, where they are placed in group B alongside Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong. They won their opening game against Hong Kong by seven wickets before losing their second match to Sri Lanka by six wickets.

The Litton Das-led side will clash with Afghanistan in their next encounter on September 16. Asia Cup 2025 will conclude on September 28 with the final. Before facing the West Indies, Bangladesh will lock horns with Afghanistan in three ODIs and three T20Is from October 2 to 14 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Last month, West Indies played ODI and T20I series against Pakistan. They lost the three-match T20I series 2-1, but won the ODI series 2-1. The Caribbean side are scheduled to clash with Nepal in a T20I series from September 27 to 30 in the UAE. Later, they will tour India for two test matches, scheduled to be played from October 2 to October 14.
