Bangladesh are one of the four teams who have qualified for the Super Four round of Asia Cup 2025. The Litton Das-led side was part of group B with Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. Winning two games and losing one match, they finished at the second spot in group B with four points.
In their opening game, Bangladesh defeated Hong Kong by seven wickets. They restricted Hong Kong to 143/7 in the first innings and later chased down the target on back of a half-century by Litton Das.
They faced a setback in their next match, facing a defeat against Sri Lanka by six wickets. Losing key batters for single digits, Bangladesh posted 139/5 in the first innings. Later, Pathum Nissanka slammed a fifty to drive Sri Lanka to victory by six wickets.
In their third clash against Afghanistan, Bangladesh needed a victory to keep their hopes of reaching Super Four alive. In the nail-biting clash, Bangladesh posted 154/5 in the first innings with a fifty by Tanzid Hasan. Later, bowled out Afghanistan for 146 runs, winning the clash by just eight runs.

What is Bangladesh’s schedule for the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2025?
Bangladesh will play three games during the Super Four stage of Asia Cup 2025. In their opening game, they will take on Sri Lanka on September 20 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This will be the second clash between both sides in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025.
Later, Bangladesh will lock horns with India on September 24 and Pakistan on September 25. The venue of both these games is also Dubai International Cricket Stadium. If Bangladesh finish in the top two spots in the Super Four round, they will qualify for the final.
