Bangladesh and Afghanistan will play three ODIs in Abu Dhabi.

Bangladesh Cricket Team have announced their squad for the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan Cricket Team. Both teams will clash in three ODI games from October 8 to 14 at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The series will take place following the ongoing three-match T20I series.Having played six tests and 14 T20Is so far, Saif Hassan has earned his maiden call-up to the ODI squad for the series against Afghanistan. Nurul Hasan has made a comeback to the ODI team after two years. Both the batters impressed with their performances in the recent Asia Cup 2025.

Senior batter Litton Das has missed out on selection as he is in recovery from the side strain he sustained during Asia Cup 2025. Parvez Hossain Emon has been overlooked for the series as all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead the 16-member squad against Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are currently engaged in a three-match T20I series. Bangladesh have already sealed the series after winning the first two matches. They won the first match by four wickets and the second encounter by two wickets. The third and final game will be played on October 5 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.
