Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan 2024 will get underway on August 21.
Pakistan are set to host Bangladesh in a two-match test series. Both matches will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi from August 25 to September 3.
Earlier, the second test match was scheduled to be hosted in Karachi, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) moved it to Rawalpindi. The decision was taken by the PCB due to the renovation work going on in the National Stadium in Karachi for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan will miss pacer Aamer Jamal in this series as he has failed to recover from a back injury. They, though, have Naseem Shah back in the test setup.
Visitors Bangladesh are also having a solid squad, which includes veteran cricketers Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Taskin Ahmed, along with plenty of youngsters.
The upcoming two-match test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
