Younus Khan is the only Pakistani batter with more than 10,000 test runs and also has the most hundreds for his country in test cricket. He retired with 10,099 runs at an average of 52.25 in 118 tests and 34 centuries. Younus reached 32 centuries in 183 innings, which is the fastest for a Pakistani batter. He was certainly one of Pakistan’s best of all time.
4. Sachin Tendulkar – 179 innings:

Sachin Tendulkar had a legendary career, and there might not be another one who can come close to him. Sachin holds the records for most matches, most runs, most centuries, and most half-centuries in test cricket. The Master Blaster took 179 innings to reach 32 hundreds. Overall, he slammed 51 centuries in 200 tests, with 15,921 runs and 68 half-centuries.
3. Ricky Ponting – 176 innings:

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting was arguably the best all-format batter to play for Australia. He was the greatest captain, and his batting stats were also pretty incredible. Ponting hit his 32nd century in the 174th innings of his test career. Overall, he played 168 tests and scored 13,378 runs, with 41 centuries and 62 half-centuries in test cricket.
2. Steve Smith – 174 innings:

Steve Smith started his career as a leg-spinner and went on to become the greatest test batter of modern-day cricket. The right-hander has the best test average in the current generation, which is close to 60. Despite having an unorthodox batting style, he has found immense success. Smith completed 32 test centuries in 174 innings. So far, he has played 107 matches and scored 9634 runs, at an average of 58.03 with 32 centuries in test cricket.

To surpass the likes of Tendulkar and Ponting, you need someone special, and Kane Williamson is certainly among the best. The former Kiwi captain reached the landmark before playing 100 tests. He did it in 172 innings, with some amazing records under his belt. Williamson has 32 hundreds in 98 tests, with 8666 runs at an average of 55.80.
