BBL 2024-25: Full schedule

BBL 2024-25 is scheduled to start on December 15.

The 14th season of the Big Bash League (BBL) is scheduled to kick off on December 15. The opening game of the tournament will see Perth Scorchers taking on Melbourne Stars at the Optus Stadium, Perth.

The BBL 2024-25 season will feature 44 matches over 43 days. The 40 league games will be followed by the Qualifier, Knockout, Challenger and Final. The playoff stage of the tournament will begin on January 21.

A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament namely: Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Adelaide Strikers, Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes, Sydney Sixers, and Sydney Thunder.

Brisbane Heat will enter the season as the defending champions, whereas the Perth Scorchers will enter the competition as the most successful team in Big Bash League history with five titles to their name.
