The BCCI on Saturday, 1st July has announced Team India's new lead sponsor for next 3 years.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Dream11 as their new lead sponsor for three years. Dream11 will be replacing BYJU’s as the lead sponsor. BYJU’s contract ended at the end of March this year. India’s tour of the West Indies will be the first series and tour under Dream11. India are set to tour the Caribbean islands for a Two-match test series, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is in July-August. The first test of the series will be played at Windsor Park in Dominica from the 12th to the 16th of July. The second test will begin on 20th July at Queens Park Oval in Trinidad & Tobago. 

Dream11 will be sported on Team India’s jersey during the upcoming tours and series. In Major ICC events teams do not sport sponsors names. BCCI President Roger Binny said, “I congratulate Dream11 and welcome them on board again. From being BCCI’s official sponsor to now being the lead sponsor, the BCCI-Dream11 partnership has grown from strength to strength. It is a direct testament to the trust, value, potential, and growth that Indian cricket offers. As we prepare to host the World Cup later this year, enhancing fan experience is among our top priorities”

Dream11 CEO and Co-founder Harsh Jain said, “As a long-standing partner of BCCI and Team India, Dream11 is thrilled to take our partnership to the next level. At Dream11, we share our love for cricket with a billion Indian cricket fans, and it is a matter of pride and our privilege to become the lead sponsor for the National team. We look forward to continuing supporting the India sports ecosystem”. Dream11 will get three major ICC events as the lead sponsor. ICC Cricket World Cup in 2023, T20 World Cup in 2024, and World Test Championship Final in 2025.
