BCCI Awards 2024: Live streaming details, when and where to watch
The BCCI Awards 2024 event will take place on 23rd January, 2024 in Hyderabad.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will reward players for their magnificent performances in the previous calendar years. BCCI will host the annual award ceremony for Indian cricket on 23rd January, 2024 in Hyderabad. Indian team is currently assembled in Hyderabad for the first test against England. Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium will host the first test between India and England. BCCI’s award ceremony will be held two days ahead of the first test.
The BCCI will be awarding former Indian coach Ravi Shastri the Lifetime Achievement award. Shastri will join the august company of his 1983 World Cup-winning teammates Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Syed Kirmani and Kris Srikkanth. Ravi Shastri had a wonderful all-round career for India across formats. Current Indian team opener Shubman Gill will receive the Polly Umrigar Award for the year 2023. The Polly Umrigar Award is given to the best men’s cricketer of the year. This award ceremony will held for the first time after 2020 as Covid-19 restrictions have been imposed in the last few years.
