The Indian Men’s Cricket Team’s home season will begin with a test series against the West Indies.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made some changes in the venues for the home season. The Indian Cricket Team will be hosting the West Indies and South Africa in the multi-format series in October-November later this year.

The Indian Men’s Cricket Team’s home season will begin with a test series against the West Indies starting on 2nd October 2025 in Ahmedabad. The second match, which was scheduled to take place at Kolkata, will now be taking place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on 14th October.

The first test between India and South Africa, which was scheduled to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, has also been shifted. The match will now be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata starting November 14, 2025. While the rest of the schedule for the home season remains the same.

There is also a change in the venues for the women’s game. The ODI series against the Australian Women’s team was earlier scheduled to take place in Chennai. But due to the revamping of the outfield and pitches at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the series has been moved out of Chennai.

The first two ODIs between the two teams will now take place at the New PCA stadium in New Chandigarh. The last match is now slated to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Apart from this, there is also a slight change in the venues of the A team.

India A will be taking on South Africa A in the two multi-day matches and three one-day games. The red-ball games will be played as per the schedule at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru. The 50-over games, which were scheduled to take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, will now be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
