India to play 4 tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is as BCCI announces home season schedule for 2025-26

The BCCI has released India’s fixtures for the upcoming 2025-26 home season.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released Indian Cricket Team‘s fixtures for the upcoming 2025-26 home season. Team India will face West Indies and South Africa in the home season starting in October. They will host just two countries in the 2025-26 home season.
The home season will start with two-match test series against the West Indies, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27. They will then host South Africa for a multi-format series, which consists of two tests, three ODIs and five T20Is.
Team India to face West Indies in October
According to the schedule, India will face West Indies in two tests in October 2025. The first test will be played from October 2 to October 6 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The second test of the series will be played at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, starting on October 10.
The two-match test series will be part of the ICC WTC 2025-27 cycle. A month later, India will host South Africa at home for a full-fledged series. The series will begin with two tests, which will be followed by a three-match ODI series and conclude with five T20Is.
India to face South Africa in multi-format series in November-December 2025
The first test between India and South Africa will commence on November 14 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The second test of the series will start on November 22 in Guwahati, which will host its first ever test cricket match. The three ODI games will be played on November 30, December 3, and 6 in Ranchi, Raipur and Vishakapatnam respectively.
The five-match T20I series will begin with the first T20I match in Cuttack on December 9. The next four games will be played on December 11,14,17, and 19 respectively.
Meanwhile, India are also scheduled to tour England and Australia later this year. They will travel England in June for five tests that will conclude in first week of August. Later, the Men in Blue will tour Australia for a white-ball series in October-November. It will consist of three ODIs and five T20Is.
